There are a vast number of vistas that allow for amazing landscapes.  There are many hidden jewels in Yosemite that one has to find before they can say that they have seen it all.

    Yosemite offers many vistas featuring rivers and lakes.  There is snow melt year round, however, it mostly occurs during the spring and early summer months.  There is an abundance of water during this time of the year and the rivers banks are commonly swollen.

    Half Dome offers a great view of the sunset as it  captures the last rays of sunlight during the day.  It shows the same tones of color that clouds show during sunset.  

    There is an abundance of waterfalls in Yosemite Valley.  Many of these fall more than a thousand feet from the granite cliffs above.  They are much fuller in the spring months due to the increased run off.  Most of the waterfalls are year round.  Yosemite Falls is the fifth tallest waterfall in the world at 2425 feet.
