Snails are common wherever moisture is present.  They can easily be found out after rain.  These snails were found on the UC Santa Cruz campus.

    There are thousands of different types of Centipedes.  They are commonly found under rocks and in dark damp areas.  This photograph was captured in Sunol Regional Park.
